Privacy

Understand local collection and optional external tagging before using the preview.

Marketing-site analytics

This static marketing site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate page use, heatmaps, and session replays. Clarity may process interaction and device data under Microsoft's privacy terms; sensitive page content is masked. This tracking is limited to the website and is not included in the native app.

Local history and focus archive

BrowserDaddy reads available browser history stores and keeps a separate archive on your Mac. Records can include visited URLs, page titles, visit times, browser/profile identity, searches and foreground focus segments. It does not modify the source browser history. Browser and macOS permissions determine what is readable.

Attention and private windows

Foreground attention uses the frontmost app, input-idle state and, where permitted, active-tab metadata. Collection starts with the watcher; it is not a reconstruction of past attention. Private-window exclusion is not yet release-qualified. The development preview should not be relied on to exclude sensitive private-tab activity.

Optional classifier.dev requests

When you enable and run topic tagging, classification requests send domain names with selected page titles, and page hostnames with URL paths and titles, to classifier.dev. These values can reveal sensitive browsing information. This optional external processing is distinct from local archiving. Do not enable it unless you are comfortable transmitting that information.

Email updates

Email updates are optional and sent through SaaS Maker. Signing up sends your email address and explicit consent, which SaaS Maker stores as subscription records to manage occasional BrowserDaddy product updates. The form does not send browser history, archive content or native app data. You can unsubscribe at any time.

This website

The landing page does not access your browser history or the native archive. App Health collects website page views and named clicks on the Mac download and release-status links, with basic referral and campaign information. It receives no browser history or archive data. Hosting requests include ordinary connection data. AI-assistant links open a question about the public product when clicked and do not attach your browsing archive. The download button serves the app bundle directly; no account creation is offered.
